Jokers Wild (Instant Download) This visual piece of card magic is perfect for parties! Imagine two spectators, highly visual changes, impressively smooth control, and a climax that brings it back to cool. Highly recommended!
Price: $7.95
In stock: usually ships within 24 hours!

A joker is set aside from the pack.

Two spectators pick cards.

The cards are lost in different spots in the middle of the pack.

The Joker is wild... how's he wild? If you give him a little shake he turns into one spectator's selected card.

If you give him a little snap he turns into the other spectator's card.

But it doesn't end there... the joker's still wild. If you run him through the pack like a credit card and give him a little shake he turns right back into the joker.

Credit goes to Marc DeSouza.

A friend of mine showed me this trick, I modified it so the joker finds the two cards in the end so I could hand out the actual cards themselves rather then have the joker turn into the cards and back. The trick lacked the satisfaction most tricks have and that is to give the physical card to the audience themselves.

I don't see any magic here. Will your spectators? Doubtful. What you get is instruction on controlling selected cards to the top, which is pretty hard to do in a way that is truly deceptive. You also have to do a couple of double-lifts... and you also learn a couple of basic color changes.

That's all there is. Is it really worth building a routine around a shake change? This is more like a utility move you throw into a routine just for the heck of it. It's certainly not something that is so good that you should be making it the climax of a routine.

This is my opener, a very cool and visual trick. It's pretty easy really and the sleights covered are taught very well by OZ. I highly recommend you use this routine because it's simply brilliant.

Jokers Wild was one of the first tricks I learned upon getting back into card magic. It's a very visual, magical card routine but a short routine. You'll learn a couple nice color changes. Probably a little expensive for one routine. The second change does take a little practice to perfect so practice, practice, practice!

I learned this move about seven years ago when I began magic and it's a move I still use today. Sometimes people can figure out what you are doing but there are ways around it. The Jokers Wild routine is actually really effective. People like the idea of there being some magical card that can change and they usually think it's something to do with the card, which of course can be handed out afterwards. Another great impromptu effect!

This trick is fairly easy to learn, you'll get it down cold in a few days. However, the 2nd change (when Oz flicks the card) is kinda hit-or-miss. It's a knack and kinda relies on some luck.

In either case, it's still a fun trick to perform and is really cool if you can nail that 2nd change.

This one is great. If you can perform very natural looking controls then it is great. You also learn 2 very useful colour changes. Well worth it.

Its pretty simple but not too simple like for a beginner. Maybe 1 year of magic or 2 if you practice a lot. Takes only a week or less to master . Moves are not really hard either but its a killer effect GET THIS.

This trick was the turning point in my card magic. Once I mastered it and did it in front of the mirror, I thought to myself, "I look like a pro" from then on that was it, there was no stopping me.

So for you advanced card magicians get this, because you will learn two very effective color changes that you can incorperate into making your own tricks and routines.

For you beginners I am very confident that this trick will do the same for you as it did for me. I hope after learning this trick you will continue in card magic and not be discouraged.

the two color changes are not too hard, but will require practice, but if your afraid of practice then you don't deserve to be a magician.

Thanks
