The System by Dan and Dave Buck (The Buck Twins) (DVD) We've been getting requests for The Buck Twins for over a year. They're FINALLY HERE!
Out of stock.
A few years ago at the first MAGIC Live! convention, Dan & Dave Buck (AKA, the Buck twins) were the only ones who received a standing ovation after they performed their flourish act at the Close-Up show! Even David Blaine was impressed! Now, you'll see why!

there isnt any teaching here, you just see the moves from 2 different angles, in 2 different
speeds.
i wish there were 3 angles because its impossible to understand anything from the angles they show you... dont get it Did this review help you?
Some of the flourishes on the DVD are incredible but the reason the DVD lost 2 stars was because of
the teaching. All the teaching was the performance in slow motion.

If you love XCM and don't have this DVD, what are you waiting for? This material will take your
manipulation skills to the next level, but only if you put the proper time in to it. This stuff is
hard. Unfortunately it is made harder by the fact that there isn't any verbal instruction on the
DVD, which is why I gave this 4 instead of 5. However, the visual instruction can be enough if you
put the proper time in and commit yourself to learning the material. In the end it is well worth it.

Dan and Dave are remarkable in every aspect of card magic. They have truly taken card magic to the
next level and set the standard very very high. Yes in the archive section there is no verbal
talking but these cuts and flourishes can be learned. People think flourishing is so hard so they
just stay away from it...What people do not realize is is that it takes practice and a considerable
amount of effort to attain smoothness and near perfection of these flourishes. There is talking in
Pasteboard animation and they do break about 4 or 5 cuts down that are in the archive section which
is a good thing. For somebody getting into flourishes i would say learn the basics of card magic
first before you try and tackle any of this but for what you recieve there is a wealth of knowledge
in this single dvd...

There is absolutely no teaching in this. I wasted my money. it is fricken hard to learn by just
watching over and over.

This DVD is great. The moves are genius. Some are pretty difficult but with practice, you'll get it.
I gave it 4 stars because (as stated before) the teaching is not the best. Only a slow motion look
at each cut from 2 different angles. Hard to follow sometimes. But overall, great DVD.

This is the best DVD I ever bought! It changed me from a magic guy to a flourisher (with some
magic). It teaches 18 awesome flourishes (2 one handed cuts, 2 displays, and 14 two handed cuts),
as well as a few ace productions. The material is amazing. There are only 4 cuts I don't use (1 I
can't perfect, 3 I just don't like). Some extra stuff is hidden in the DVD and I was able to learn
them just by watching. That's alot of stuff for the price, without any filler. There's only one
"downside". The teaching.
I really don't mind the teaching. I actually kinda like it. The cuts are shown repeatedly so you can just watch and practice without using the remote. You can watch from 2 angles and 2 speeds, and eventually your mind will just get it, as long as you don't give up easily. If you're dedicated, and know the basics of flourishing (like the stuff from Xtreme Beginnerz), you shouldn't have a problem. So if you want to learn this stuff, you can (and should). This is the one product you can't be without. Did this review help you?
HI
So, what to say? I really like this dvd. The material is unbelievably cool. Thats just what I think of if I hear the word XCM. The moves are hard, but YOU can get them if you practice them. The two views are good, but I use just the front view. A pity, there is nothing taught on this dvd, but the slow-motion is really S-L-O-W, so its not impossible to learn the flourishes. The additional material is mostly garbage, but there are some further moves taught too which are really nice to see. There is no music while you are watching the moves. The menus are really bad, but you wont have to use them very often, so thats okay. So all in all its a good dvd with a-m-a-z-i-n-g material. The moves are really very good looking and fit in every XCM routine. You can really speed up your show with these moves - but you have to practice them a long time before you can use them in a helpful way. TAKE YOUR CHANCE TO LEARN XCM Did this review help you?
