Lu Chen is a wonderful magician, both technically and personality-wise. You can see he really knows how to engage and talk to his spectators with ease, kindness, and without a condescending tone.

The teaching on this DVD is wonderful, and the subtitles are easy to read and understand (they're placed close to his hands so it's easier to follow). There are 5 ace productions, two of which of are slightly easier, one of which is a very creative way using a modified Bike box, and a very visual card changing one. The 3 card tricks are also good, though only 0% Possibility could actually be considered "not difficult". The coin tricks require good foundation of sleights, but the assembly is a little easier on the knuckles and in fact, Lu Chen demonstrates two ways do it (both of which are lots of fun). The ring trick is cute, but you should really provide your own ring for it.

Lu Chen properly credits nearly every move and trick and goes through everything quite thoroughly, sans the more basic sleights (he only glances through them).

If you ever seen Lu Chen on youtube or on TV, you know what he's capable of. This is but a small glance at his wonderful world of magic, personality, and technique. I love this and highly recommend it!!
