I got 'suckered' by the advertising .... "Sleeveless sleeving' indeed!!!Of course the man has
sleeves... that's where the stuff goes!!!Just HOW the stuff gets up one of Mr Stahl's sleeves is
what this DVD is all about...there are certainly no threads and no pulleys....It's all practice,
practice, practice.Also,the way Johan gives his tutorial would not win him a job as a teacher.
Yet,the video is clear and short...there is so little to say about the simple method described. I'm
happy to pay for this product: my penalty for being so dumb! I am constantly amazed how blatant some
magicians are and Mr Stahl demonstrates a clear,clean vanish and retreaval every time. I was NOT
astonishing by what he sleevelessly sleeved:Be warned, the range and variety of items being
sleevelessly sleeved in this DVD is limited to...one! A pen.

I got this for Christmas...I enjoyed Johan Stahl very much. He is a great teacher. His personality
comes shining through and he goes over in nice enough detail how to perform the moves.
There are quite a few ideas on this dvd. I think you will find something you like on here. He explains things very well. If you are new to this...it will take some time getting the timing down...but it will be worth it! So what are you waiting for...you will not be disappointed. Get this. Did this review help you?

My first dvd on sleeving, and i think Johan Stahl does a really good job teaching his material in an
inspiring way. He shows a few good routines, and teaches a lot of "allround" stuff on sleeving and
namely how to make good use of the outfit that you are wearing when performing different tricks.
I´m very happy that I got the dvd, because it gave me a lot of new stuff to work with! 4 stars;
it´s up to date on the performance (he doesn´t look like a clown in a oversized jacket) the fact
that you do the trick with your sleeves pulled up is very convincing, and you learn to work with
different objects. not five stars: sometimes the camera angles could have been better (It doesn´t
affect the understanding, though)

This is my second DVD on sleeving, a move which i wish I had gotten into many years
ago.
The ONLY reason I'm giving this 4 and not 5 stars is that its a tiny bit of the short side time wise, but what you learn in that time is gold. I love this DVD, some great misdirection and you see what real magic should look like when performed live. As Greg Wilson always says "and it gives your cards a rest" (thank God!). I love it. Very good sleeving material! A little short maybe but I like it, useful in a lots of magic tricks.
