The magician shows 4 cards: one figure (the vampire) and three numbered cards (the victims). The vampire is placed on one victim and he sucks his blood, leaving the card blank. This is repeated until all three cards are turned blank. To finish even the vampire disappear and his card will turn blank.

This is a great trick and I highly recommend it. Easy to perform and it has a great story line. I modified the cards just a little to make the handling easier. Ran my Roughing Stick across the middle of the blank card with the printed back and the middle of the king card so they would not slip when handling them. To separate them at the end just press on the top of the King/blank card combination. Works like a charm.

If you like this trick, I would suggest that you check out The Web. Another easy to do card trick with a wonderful story line and easy handling. For that trick I substitute a glue dot for the blue tack. Works better for me.

This is a fantastically powerful effect, made with fantastic, real, well made bicycle cards. I wonder if the reviewer below me got a dud package? My cards feel just like Bicycle Rider Backs.

I perform this trick ALL the time. Highly recommended; should be much more expensive.

I like this trick, it is very easy to do, it only requires one move, so people who are new to card magic should be able to do this with just a few minutes of practice. You can't hand this trick out. It is very gimmicked. Also it says that the cards are Bicycle, but mine are not very god quality. They are extremely thin and flimsy. But for 1.31 I can't complain too much. Overall a nice little trick, especially for Halloween time. Very good for beginners to use to help build confidence.

Deceptive description and wrong cards inbox Report this review

first there’s a belief that one of the cards will have a face of a vampire and that is not what is received at all. Second the instructions show one black card which represents the prince of darkness and the other three cards which are red and represent the blood that the vampire will be sucking. But that’s not what it is received. I bought several and I got backwards cards. With No vampire and one red Jack with three black cards (when it should be the other way around) and then another card.

Not only was disappointing not to get a picture card with a vampire Patrick doesn’t make any sense to do the way it is written based on the cards received

Cute and easy packet card trick to perform. Fine quality cards come with the effect. One can also find a tutorial on this effect besides the instructions that come with this effect.
Well worth the cost of the trick for what is included.
Love dealing with Penguin Magic. Great place, great prices and a great place to shop.

The deck I received had the gimmick backwards, which ruins the story that goes with the trick. I sent an email describing the problem, hopefully it will be corrected
