This is ESP Deck with Anglo backs in white on black design, printed by Offason of Sweden. The cards are the same high quality as Anglo Poker Ed09.

An ESP Deck consists of 25 symbol cards, originally designed by Dr. Joseph Rhine 1927 to test Extra Sensory Perception at Duke University. ESP Deck, Anglo contains:

  • 25 ESP cards (5 of each: circle, cross, wavy lines, square, star)
  • 25 ESP cards (5 of each: circle, cross, wavy lines, square, star), secretly marked on their backs
  • 4 double faced cards(force card: circle).
Probably the best ESP Deck in the world...

Good ESP Deck Report this review

As ESP decks go, this is about as good as they get. The card stock is good quality and they have a kind of a weave texture to them. They don't handle like air-cushioned Bicycles, but it's close. The design on the backs is mysterious looking, but still kind of classy. The marks are super easy to read and, unlike the marks on the Vernet deck, hasn't been noticed by spectators at the time of this review. You get five full sets of marked cards and give sets of unmarked cards, which is a great bonus. You also get a set of double-faced cards and an instruction card with a suggestion on how to use them. Overall a good deck.

Best ESP readers Report this review

I have 4 ESP/Zenner reader decks and this is by far the easiest to read - and the fact that you get a second deck of non-readers PLUS some DFrs is an added bonus. The deck doesn't really handle well as the cards are not on excellent stock - but they will do the trick.

Great deck Report this review
Verified buyer Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on April 25th, 2014
This is probably the best and easiest to read ESP deck out there. While I prefer the deck that comes with "Beyond ESP 3" the markings on the anglo deck are very easy to read (you can see the markings from a good bit of distance away).

The one (and only) trick that comes with this deck "Circular Prediction" is actually very clever - don't be fooled by its simplicity.

The best thing about this deck is that half the cards are marked and half aren't so you now know what to do when you hand them out for all those grabby inspectors.

So why do I still prefer the deck from Beyond ESP 3? Well, I like the marking system better especially when performing Jazz Mentalism.

But make no mistake, this deck is worth the money - very sturdy and nicely made.

One of Three Best Marked ESP Decks Report this review
Verified buyer Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on March 11th, 2020
I have taken this pack across the world. I use it for a couple of routines in which I have separated them into two separate holding places: 1 set of 5 marked and 1 set of 5 unmarked cards for a matching routine, and the others used in a design duplication...no need to explain here. The second phase (the design dupe) does not require markings, but the consistency of their use helps to sell the second phase.

That said, I have found them useful and cleverly marked and even with my bad eyes and in dimly lit rooms, they are easy to spot the marks if I am sitting across from the participant.

For distant viewing, they aren't the best, but for most routines, this is not necessary, so the point may be moot.

I'd LOVE some guidance as to how to use the extra cards in the deck. If it exists, I am unaware.

Quality, good marks, handle well.

Not Bad for Price Report this review

I like the back design and the markings. However, they don't handle very well for me. Kind of sticky or something. I prefer the feel of the ESP Origins deck, although they cost more and only come with one deck. This comes with two. My eyesight is really bad but I can pretty much read these on a table next to the spectator. Anyone with normal to fair eyesight should have no problem.

Had the cards I wanted but not the quality Report this review
Verified buyer Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on July 15th, 2018
First off, this has two full decks, one marked and one not, so that is good. It had the particular force cards I was looking for which was the main reason I purchased them. But the cards don't handle all that well. I like the ESP Origins deck much better but you can't by the type of force cards I got with that set anymore. I did buy another set of the ESP Origins cards for regular work and I will probably use these mostly for the force cards.

The markings are easy to read. And I do like the design. Just wish the card stock themselves were a little more to my liking. Also the symbols seem a little weak, could have benefited from bolder lines.

All in all, not bad for the price but probably won't buy more.

Great ESP Deck!! Report this review

I got this deck based in the good reviews it has and I do not regret at all!

The quality is very nice, like using Bicycle cards. Good finish and design. Beautiful cards.

It´s great that it comes with 2 sets! I think all ESP decks must come with 2 sets. Would be great if both sets were marked. But it´s fine.

The feel of the cards are very natural, love this.

Excellent value ESP deck Report this review

For the price you can't really go wrong if you're looking for marked ESP cards. The four included gaff cards come with an example routine, on top of five full sets of both marked and unmarked cards. You will need to know an ESP routine of your own to get the most of this pack. They're not Bicycle quality, but they don't need to be for my purposes. This pack will likely last me a good five to ten years of use before I wear them all out. That'll be dozens if not hundreds of performances...for $10 worth of props.

The best ESP deck for the money Report this review
Verified buyer Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on June 16th, 2018
This is the best deck of ESP cards for 10 bucks, hands down. The only decks that come close to this one are Beyond ESP and ESP system, and they both cost twice as much. I will list pros and cons for this deck vs the other two.

PROS
- Great card quality (and poker sized cards, which I prefer)
- The clearer marking system in the market
- Comes with a second, unmarked deck
- Price

CONS
- I prefer more 'experimental' back design (as the ones in Beyond ESP and ESP system)
- I prefer a second marked deck in a different colour, as Beyond ESP does (but having an unmarked deck is also an advantage, so not sure about this one)

TL;DR: If you like the back design in this cards (which is a little bit more esoteric than the others in the market), go for this deck. Top card and markings quality.
