Jim Critchlow is well known as the creator of the best-selling effects White Star & Til Death. Now joined by Tony McMylor he has created his finest work to date. "The Fallen"

The Fallen is an absolutely incredible piece of theatre which can be presented in almost any performing situation. Jim Critchlow and Tony McMylor have taken many months to develop probably one of the magic world's most amazing multi-revelation effects, which is ideal for bizarrists, mentalists, storytellers, psychics and the working magician.

Respectfully taking the First World War as its subject and uses authentic looking props. This poignant, thought provoking piece of theatre is easy to learn and suitable for close-up, parlour or stage performances.

Do not expect whoops and hollers at the finale of the effect - stunned silence is what you will get. Little memory work needed and a very powerful tool indeed.

Using method one, you will be able to pluck eight, yes eight pieces of information apparently from thin air - name, rank, service number, regiment, the date when either missing in action or killed in action, date of birth and nationality.

Method two is even better, you can divine nine pieces of information. Truly an incredible effect.

Includes instructional DVD, props and pack of photo cards.

i like this a lot. the system is very lengthy as far as the information you can devine. i don't reveal everything because it screams memorization to the spec. maybe it doesn't...based on your presentation, it shouldn't, but i'm always too careful. i go for the status, name, dob, and maybe one other thing. incandesence is like this. you can reveal an entire page but i never do.

this has been respectfully done but there's no american influence. english audiences would appreciate this a bit more. the props are smooth. you can really achieve that authentic look a bit with these. i've aged some of mine with a teabag and laminated one of them. overall, this is worth the money. you can perform this in about an hr of study. it's pretty easy.

I have been truly loving working with this piece for the past month and change. While I began with the prop version, I found it to be cumbersome, and a slight over complication to the proceedings.

I've since ditched that method for the no-prop style, and have had great success since. It makes it compact, stand-up, slick, and less reverse-engineerable.

This is a great addition to a repertoire, but certainly not for everyone.
