For the most part, I've been very happy with Penguin Magic. The service, like the products, is good
and the speed in mailing is excellent. But, every once in awhile, they throw out something that's
just junk and this item is a perfect example. The bag is too small for a real adult head. If
you're claustrophobic, even a little, forget this. It comes with no instructions and, when you do
figure it out, it's a disappointment. Very shoddy stuff.

I got this in the mail for a performance at a halloween party involving playing a card game while
blindfolded. It worked terrifically! I was expecting the bag to be burnt by everyone there, heavily
inspected, etc., but it was VERY quickly examined and then dismissed. I definitely overestimated how
much people were willing to inspect an object that they had to be blindfolded in order to properly
inspect!
As a performance tip, don't direct heat onto the bag. The bag is a bag, and
that's all that it is. You want to try it on? Laugh and say sure, but there's no need to put the
idea in their head that the bag is anything more than a bag.
Also, use this bag as a bag!
Put stuff in it! Carry things around in it while you're not performing! It gives you a reason to
have the bag, and it deters spectators from inspecting the bag for entirely too long.
There are complains below about resetting being difficult. It's not easy, but it's not as hard
as the comments make it sound. All I have to suggest is PRACTICE WITH THIS. You can easily and
reliably reset this if you get some practice with it. Just remember to practice the entire routine,
from taking out the bag, to putting it on, to taking it off and folding it back up.
I would
recommend this!

I like the way this thing is suppose to work, but resetting it after using it is near impossible. I
don't know if something wrong or if I'm doing something wrong. The directions don't address reset
to make the blindfold examinable again. Maybe someone has some tips on this. Otherwise it would be
an excellent addition to a mentalism act.

This is a must have! You can put it on a participant and they see nothing. You put it on yourself
and a window of vision is opened up. It is tied down so you couldn't possibly see, except you can.
The best part is it resets as soon as you take it off your head and it is fully examinable. The
participant can put it on again and still see nothing. Wonderfully well made!

I think the trick is great. Csn someone help me to do it examinable again? I would appreciate all
the help you may give me.

It is a very good blindfold. The level of vision is quite good, however it is not ideal for night
time or where there is minimal lighting. Other than that it is a high quality product you will not
be dissapointed in.

It doesn't get much simpler than this. I tried it on before reading the instructions and couldn't
see a thing. Any audience member would be convinced that you can't see through this thing. But after
doing that little "thing you have to do", it was a different story. I don't know that I would want
to drive with it on, but my eyesight is not that great. Someone else may have no problem with that.
I had read that resetting was an issue, but mine seems to reset automatically. This might be due to
a variance from one blindfold to another or it could be that it's because mine is new. Especially
considering the price, if you do any mindreading or mentalism, you might want to consider having
this around.
