If you like what you see in the trailer, pick it up!!! If you end up hating it, it's not going to break the bank. For me it's perfect! It's a little monster that sits in your wallet, with a completely organic reason for being there, sitting, waiting for you to unleash it's powers. But being serious, I'm a reasturant worker and have noticed that people are... Semi impressed when you turn the lense and the middle of the pen vanishes. I say "semi impressed" Becuase people have some inclination of the lense refracting the pen. But when you pull away to revel the just previously straight pen is now all warped and twisted, it destroys they're reality. Awesome product!! Andddddd, refills are available, unlike many Paul Harris presents releases, making THIS ONE a winner!!!

This is really more of a "high 3" rating than a 4 but close enough. It's not an "Oh Wow" kind of effect, and you do need to really practice a bit to make sure you understand how to present it to someone so it looks right. You will need to in a sense, use some slight of hand to do what they show in the video but it's super easy. Just not a killer effect in my opinion, but others really seem to like it so again, just not for me really.

Everyone Magician or not a Magician should have one or two of the Lubors Lens. Buy the Lubors Lens - DVD and Gimmick by Paul Harris and then buy a extra lens. One for your wallet and one kept at home for back-up. This is a Awesome Trick and might sell out fast so buy it now while you can! You will always carry this with you! Very easy to do and an incredible illusion. Can be fully examined. It creates gasping results!

Fast easy and fun. Plus it takes up very little space. Basically there is only one move that you have to do under the cover of the lens. Once that is done you are home free. Introducing the lens (prop) into the trick is explained and actually makes sense as to why you have and are bringing out this strange item and using it. At the end most people don't know what just happened to the pen or other other item(s) that you made twist or? and are trying to figure it out and are in awe. This trick just takes seconds to do from start to finish and would be a trick that you could just have in your back pocket when someone wants to see you do some magic.

This is my first review on here. That is because this is the FIRST magic trick I learned 3 years ago when I started magic, and it is STILL one of my favorite effects! Why? Well, first of all, I still consider myself a novice, and I like tricks that are extremely visual and awesome, but are also as easy to perform as possible. This is absolutely the easiest trick I own and it really makes people go "Woah, what the ****!?"

I start out handing them the pen to show it to be ordinary. I then reach in my pocket and pull out my magic lens and tell them Im going to show you something pretty cool, youre going to like this. I make it appear like you can see through the pen through to their hand. This part of the effect is not really that great, BUT IT IS!! Because they are just thinking well it's a lens and it's bending light or whatever. Not very impressive, but then I say "But that's not all this lens can do, check this out" and the second part really blows their mind. I like the little cheap (not so good) effect where you see through to the hand because it makes the spectator think you're just going to show them another silly trick of how it makes it look like it's warping the pen. And all the way up until the end they are probably just thinking "yeah, well that's kinda neat" until you remove the lense and the warped pen is really warped for real!!! BUY THIS!! You won't regret it!

My lens only came in a plain paper envelope, not a leather case as the reviewer above stated. Also, if you do the pen routine, use a black pen. It looks much better at the finish.

LUBORS LENS IS AVERY VISUAL EFFECT,IT'S VERY FUNNY TO DO AND EASY TO CARRY.IF YOU CAN FIND A STRAW YOU A VERY VISUAL TRICK IN YOR POCKET.

A lovely combination of an optical illusion with a magic trick. The lens is amazing, objects bend and disappear. The only draw back is that it is angle sensitive and can only be performed for small audiences. People have to be able to look directly down on the lens. For small audiences (probably 3 or 4 people max) it's a unique and beautiful piece of magic.

Just look at the video before buying and you'll not waste a penny on this product (If you just want a lubor lens they are cheap online from non magic vendors.) Any one can see the pen rolling in his palm. This is so horrible my 5 year old asked me when they were going to do a trick when the video ended...

So what we get is a sharpie that is labeled on both sides and one side is warped and one side is not. I didn't even spend a penny figuring this steamy pile out.
