Finally found a DVD that was worth the money. I've got lots of new favorite tricks now! What I
really like is that this DVD isn't you're old Gemini Twins and "separate the deck into three piles"
types of stuff. It's got some real gems that some kid never learned from his uncle. You will use
something on this DVD, guaranteed. It's not really designed for beginners, yet still suitable for
them. Bonus material really could help with some of the fundamentals of magic.
While lots of the tricks are simple, I'm not sure if you can call them "self-working." The suggested convincers are one thing, but there are MOVES here- culls, crimps, key cards, etc, and any combination of the two. Some are optional, but some tricks do require minimal work. For me, this was actually a positive component. I feel like the DVD is the perfect ratio of work to results. Lots require a slug or stack, making it difficult to present too many of them in one sitting. But the stuff is easy and amazing. Buy it. Most of the spectators are gorgeous. Can't wait for Volume 2!!!! Did this review help you?

This is a must have. I've been performing for 45 years and this DVD Set has a few miracles I will be
performing with and without a borrowed deck. Go fr it. You won't regret it.

Ultimate self working card tricks is a very well produced and quite wonderful collection of card
magic. The interesting thing to me is most of the effects are inherently mental type effects-which i
like- but they dont have to be. Thats the point. With these type of effects, since you dont have to
worry about "guilty sleighting" you can be really,really creative; wether youre a story teller,
bizzarist,mentalist, post apocalyptic weirdo or gospel magician,you can make these whatever your
magic heart desires. A couple are visual too. One minus is the menu funtion is a bit odd but that is
trivial in my opinion. This is a good collection of card tricks that are looking for a great(or
good)preformer. peace out

I have never purchase a DVD where so many tricks that are on it are going immediately into my act.

I don't normally write reviews for stuff but I will say, Big Blind Media has put out an amazing DVD
here. I bought this on a whim, and it has already given me three new pieces for my act. I was
worried it would just be a collection or card location effects, but it is so much more. A+ material.

Extremely well made DVD. They really took the time to cover everything and explain all the tricks
very well. DVD even comes with some bonus lessons that teach you different techniques you can use.
I was very impressed with the DVD quality and teaching style. Excellent collection of tricks. Plus,
they have some very nice ladies to look at :)

For once I bought a DVD of Card Tricks that was worth every penny I paid. This DVD is a gold mine
of Foolers. If you are looking for new card tricks that really WILL fool folks, this is the one to
buy, you won't be disappoined. My favorite was Impossible and Shuffling Lesson.
