(This review is for Wreck Cup by Arnel Renegado)
The secret is worth the 3.95. However what Arnel Renegado has managed to do in Wreck Cup is take a brilliant scientific trick and turn it into utter trash.

The concept behind this trick is well known in the health conscious community (although I'm sure they've never thought of using it for a magic trick) as part of a major debate whether this "experiment" proves that some versions of the secret product used are superior to others, however nobody would make the connection so logically this should be a winning trick, right? Nope!

There are a ton of issues with this trick. Why on earth would you stir a cup that supposedly only contains pure water? Also, the methods Arnel has for concealing the secret item are laughably pathetic. Another massive point is that despite the fact that Arnel thinks otherwise this DOES NOT work with every brand of this, and there is absolutely no way of knowing which brands it does work with and which ones it doesn't work with. When you buy it its about a investment that should last you about 200 performances. Its a decent amount of money to waste on a shot in the dark as to whether it will work or not. Once you know what the secret product is do a google search the product and styrofoam and you'll see what I mean. There's a reason why people do this experiment and its to tell whether they got the good kind or the bad kind (I do happen to be on the side that believes that both the kinds this will work on and the other kind are both the same. I'm just calling it bad because that's what the people who publicize this experiment say).

Just one other point I should mention is that the water doesn't boil. Straight up false advertising. Arnel should be ashamed.

After all is said and done, I am glad I bought this as I didn't know about this scientific concept and I do plan on buying several brands until I find one that works and spending several hours to hours to workshop it to the point where this will actually fool people, I'm just appalled that Arnel didn't bother.
