From the creative mind of Alan Wong comes an all new HD Thumb-tip.

Thumbtips aren't designed to be seen, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't look as close to your actual thumb as possible.

Therefore, Alan Wong's HD Thumbtip is a perfect solution; he has designed a thumbtip with painstaking detail to match the curves and contours of a real thumb. It works exactly like a normal thumbtip (one of magic's greatest secret gimmicks) but will remove some of the restrictions of keeping the tip hidden at all times.

I like the details on this thumb tip, it is allot bigger than vernet's standard thumb tip. It fits over my thumb all the way up to the joint that connects my thumb to my hand, which is also a +. But... they are also very thick. The border of the tip is cut in such a way its very visible from the side. That being said, the thumb tip is always a nightmare seen from the side. Proper handling makes this thing virtually undetectable.

And it's less than three bucks. Can't really be disappointed for that price.

Biggers not always better! Report this review

These thumb tips are definitely "bigger" then other types on the market, and also slightly more detailed. For the price they are ok, but honestly these are a little to thick and not as soft as you might expect. If your comparing these to the "in your face" type penguin sells they are no comparison! But are better then the average thumb tips for sure

Not bad! Report this review

For the price, this is by far the most "realistic" looking TT. There are no seems, and the detail and paint are amazing! However, the edge is just to thick. I know, I know, if used properly a bright green thumbtip should go undetected, but this is just to thick of an edge. If Alan Wong makes a second generation TT, a thinner edge is the ONLY improvement that needs to be made.

The quality of this product is great - a lot of good detail.

Unfortunately, what others have said about the edge also proved to be true for me. It takes away somewhat from the "HD" quality when you have to be a little more careful than normal when dealing with the angles.

Undecided if I'll use it or not but the price was completely reasonable so not much of a loss if it ends up being only for practice and a backup.

Well made, good product Report this review

I bought a handful of different thumb tips recently, to see what I liked, and this is the one I like the most. It is a little narrower than the others, and looks more natural. I find that I am more confident with this tip rather than others. It is hard, so it can make noise when loading.

Price Vs Qaulity Report this review

This is great. cheapest I have seen and the quality is phenomanal.

The size was a bit big for my thumb, though I was able to flatten the thumb tip as it is malleable, then slowly cut down the size and adjust it to what felt right for me. Now it has replaced all previous thumb tips I have owned.

Even if this doesnt work out for you, it is cheap and worth adding to your cart anyway.

Ok, but not great (not a close-up "in your face/HD" TT Report this review
Verified buyer Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on July 25th, 2015
Pretty nice TT for the price , but not really any more realistic or "HD/in-your-face" than any other modern TT. Certainly not on the same level as the Fredi-Up TT's (but those were much more expensive and now unfortunately no longer made). So if you're looking for something to give you that extra bit of comfort zone when using a TT up close in full lighting , this is NOT what you're looking for. But if you use it as a standard TT (which is never directly shown ) then it's fine for what it is , but no better than Vernet. ** CAUTION: if you're a big guy with thick digits then this Alan Wong TT is a tight fit. Definitely made for smaller digits.

Great Thumb Tip! Report this review
Verified buyer Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on June 29th, 2015
This thumb tip is very nice. By far the best t.t. I own. Even though details aren't important, (because thumb tips should be hidden from clear view), these amazing details can come in helpful for in your face close up performances. A con about it is the oval shaped opening because it makes it hard to remove and put on but it can be easily fixed by squeezing the opening in a circle formation since the plastic isn't super hard. I would totally recommend to any one looking for a thumb tip. Alan Wong hit a home run with this. BUY NOW!!! :)

Disappointed Report this review
Verified buyer Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on May 4th, 2015
Bought this one and the "in your face" thumb tip which while more money is definitely the better one. Alan's is too bright..looks like the cuticle is painted on with white out and the opening edge is quite thick, not tapered like every other TT out there. The flesh tone is good on it but all the other factors make it a pass for me
