The magician has a female member of the audience come forward. She is told that he has a special gift for her. It is a necklace from the far away land of China! The magician then shows her the necklace of plastic beads. This gets a laugh from the audience. The magician explains that this is a "Magic" necklace which will now be demonstrated. From a flat piece of paper the magician rolls a cone. The lady holds the cone and the magician holds the necklace over the cone opening. The magician cuts the necklace and the beads fall off the cord into the cone. The magician cuts up the cord and throws it away. After saying some magic words and making magic signs the magician reaches into the cone and pulls out a completely restored necklace! The necklace can be hung around the ladies neck and given out if desired. The cone is then shown empty on both sides and the magician gets well deserved applause!

This trick is completely self working. Absolutely no sleight of hand is involved. Reset time, if you do not give the necklace out, is about 5 minutes. You can do this trick surrounded on all sides and there are no bad angles to worry about. Great for entertaining both kids and adults.

Well, this is a pretty old trick that you can even find in magic magazine from 1940. I hate when they don't credit people. Still a cool effect but please credit the originator.

I did not buy this but I have been doing magic over 40 years and actually read it in that 1940's book. I did it once back then and it went over great! I only gave it a 4 because of the setup time. Does he give a better set up? If so that might give it 5 stars. And you don't have to read to learn it today.

What is amazing to me is how almost all of the "big name" magicians that sell lots of stuff do the same thing. All the time I see them release things from old magic books. I own over 1000 old magic books. Most of those time "bigwigs" give credit, but mostly not.

And because they are a "big wig" no one complains.

This guy I never heard of actually improved the trick and put it on video so it is easy to learn. And I have a couple of subtleties that will make it even better.

And WOW! No one can credit every single person, but they should try. I'd like to see one star reviews for every "big wig" that did not credit the originator. I could do that for hundreds of tricks, but I will not.

If you think 5 minutes to reset is worth it, then buy it!
