The horrible, unnecessary reviews are straight garbage. Ignore them. If you like bizarre magic, story telling, haunted magic and are in the game / realm of creating an atmosphere where you have the time to sit down with a spectator(s) and perform an effect like this then BUY IT NOW.

SCREAM, Dark Series #2 has been out for a while, and now Dark Series #3 is available and I do own them all.

This is a BRILLIANT, SELF WORKING, NO SLEIGHT OF HAND, only a wrist kill move that if you can't do that - get out of magic... Man i cannot stand these negative reviews on bizarre effects, especially Jamie's that are truly work's of art - years in the making. The amount of talent that goes into making these creations and products are outstanding and with SCREAM - it is worth EVERY PENNY you will spend. In the UK, there are no reviews like this. In the USA - on Penguin Magic especially , people complain and write horrible, false story reviews that I have to constantly set the record straight because these are amazing effects.

Maybe those people thought this was going to be a trick that you don't need to create or memorize a story, and go about creating a patter, scenery that works for you or you can use jamies patter. Bizarre/ Haunted Magic is ALL ABOUT STORYTELLING, PRESENTATION, & THE MAGICAL COMPONENT THAT HAPPENS IN THE PROCESS.

Can't recommend SCREAM highly enough, it is AMAZING and honestly was the most scariest trick yet I have learned by Jamie after his Alakazam Academy Course. People will say they may laugh and they very well might, after they SCREAM - because they "fell for the trick" , though at first they will SCREAM and if you talk to anyone at ALAKAZAM or anyone on social media in the UK you will hear NOTHING BUT GREAT POSITIVE REVIEWS & TESTIMONIALS.

The Dark Series is going strong with #3 out now, He's Not Here, and #4 (cannot be named until it releases though I had the opportunity to see the sneak peak :) ). BUY THIS TODAY AND JAMIES AT THE TABLE NOVEMBER 2017 LECTURE! He will go over things related to some of his Dark Series items, haunted magic & visual card every day magic that he has worked on.

This is a REAL review of SCREAM! NOT the other crap you see on this page. this is and always will be a 5/5 for Jamie and Alakazam. Nothing but the best, and always superior quality & explanation!

The one review on here seems to be a bit dodgy, so I decided to post a real, honest review.

Admittedly, I did not buy this from Penguin, but I do have this, and used it at a Halloween gig. With the right lighting, mood, and storytelling, it's a good effect, and the end DOES startle people. It's not a reputation maker, nor is it a magician fooler, but it's entertaining, and does what it claims.

I would have given it 4 stars, but I gave it 5 to offset that strange 1-star review.

Ok...so I haven't had this one very long. I got it because I saw him perform it in his At The Table Lecture. *which is great by the way* And I had to have it. I performed it about ten times now...

Totally kills. Unexpected. You draw people into with either his story or the one your create around the photos. Just fantastic.

The strangest thing that has happened so far...a girl cried because she is scared of cut out faces. Seriously...she cried. Didn't know that kind of thing freaked people out. Anyway...I still hit her with the pop ending which ensued in her jumping back and then laughing.

It is easy to do. The directions are straight forward. I learned it in the quick and performed it at a party that night. Yes...that night. It went over really well. Every thing is made really well. Should last a long time!

I will now carry this one with me. *this will not live in my drawer* It really makes people stop and listen. I usually do a lot of comedy magic and this one switches the tone and still you get a laugh...after a jump.

It is fantastic and I am so super time happy I made this purchase. Totally worth it!

This one features a terrific patter line and a killer ending. If you want to venture into the dark side, this is for you!

If you know how to age card stock like this go for it. There is a handling that ties into the story where there is no heat on the envelope. Which really makes them jump when they aren't expecting it and when they don't even know where it came from. There are two negative reviews on here. My guess is they don't know the first thing about bizzar magic. If you are looking for a magic trick this isn't gonna be what you want. But if you are looking for a bizzar moment that is believeable and can actually get the highest gut reaction with an effect of this nature then buy this!

This is a really fun effect to do and just about anything from Alakazam is going to be good. I am just waiting for the right caps to come in the mail so that I can entertain people.

I'm a little disappointed, I was expecting better ...

I got this few yrs back direct....This is NOT scary at all and a let down t the buildup of it. After you open the envelope at the end you will LAUGH as to what happens more than get a fright from it.....and some wont even flinch!!! eeehhhh pass!!

This is the worst purchase I made in my life. Alakazam usually puts out really nice stuff but this.... oh my god. In this there is no scare and no magic whatsoever!!! Avoid it!
