AMAZING ENGINEERING COMBINED WITH PRISTINE SLEIGHT OF HAND!

The performer removes a glimmering steel disc from a leather pouch... "My good luck charm." A cord is shown, and the spectator tugs on it to demonstrate its strength and that it is solid. It is then securely tied into a loop. Now, in a slow deliberate manner, the steel disc, in clear view, is linked onto the cord! The performer shows off the solidity of the cord and wears it as a necklace!

Great effect for working. Easy to carry around, easy to produce, can perform without any complicated set-up. Simple effect, yet can entertain and amaze the spectator with the proper story line and performance ability. Gimmick is undetectable (at least the one I received). Recommend purchasing the effect.

Good in theory, but the design of the rope makes it obvious when moving it that it's sliding, and also the gimmick shoots apart sometimes at the "magical" moment, rather than slide seamlessly together, causing it to be unpredictable, so I could never take a chance showing this to anyone without getting caught and them laughing me out of the room.
Very disappointed.

Leather and Steel combines simple handling with a great gimmick and great looking props to produce a visually stunning penetration of a solid steel ring onto a thin rope. If you love solid through solid magic, this is one to add to your collection for sure.
Al Bach, the creator of the effect, gives you a detailed explanation and discusses the presentation he uses, which can be adjusted for your own personal style of performing.
Just watch the video demonstration and be ready to be fooled badly! Highly recommended!

This is a real worker and a superb concept and design. I've had this for a few months from an earlier version and I'm glad to see Penguin carrying this now. Al Bach is an unusually fertile mind in magic. He's got excellent concepts and his products are solid and very visual. Expect to be doing this within a half hour of watching the excellent video. Highly recommended!
