The meaning of the word, Arcadia, is a state of perfect harmony in nature. This deck draws inspiration from this concept and presents an idealized vision which is often depicted in Renaissance art by shepherds herding their sheep in untouched wilderness.

This deck deserves a long, enjoyable look. The design and production are first rate. The layouts of the number cards are very perfect, the sizing and position of the beautifully drawn custom pips are extremely well considered. The custom court cards are redrawn to just the right degree, their faces are detailed to look intaglio-printed and are very beautifully colored. Strong choice of typeface for the indices. Captivating back design. And the overall feeling is true to the arcadia design thesis.
