The spectator is shown six cards. Unlike older versions of this trick, BOTH SIDES of the cards are freely displayed.

Using the cards and a the magician's superior mental ability, it is a simple matter to tell the spectator their age, how much change they have in their pocket, or what number they're thinking of.

I know some magicians who think this trick is too simple and is worn out, but I think it's a fun little trick with a lot of potential for comedy. My handling is to have the perso. selected to put the cards into two piles and I do the math as they are laid face down, which is a little harder than having the cards side by side or in your hand, but I think it plays better because it is more natural to separate cards like that.

A very good classic mental effect. You can easily make these cards yourself, but this set has specially printed backs (there's a secret) and they're cheap, so why not 'add to cart'? Good for numbers 1-100. The cards (7) are the size of bridge-sized playing cards. You have to be able to do some basic mental arithmetic.
