There has never been such a perfect routine for you to engage a whole audience for parlour shows, stage shows, cabaret, after-dinner shows, trade shows and kids' shows

Down to One could well be the Holy Grail of audience participation from a small gathering to a huge audience! This is why professional magicians and mentalists who have performed it once have kept it in their shows.

Using nothing more than a two-colour coin and a prediction, you offer a simple, engaging, entertaining routine. The whole audience stands up and guesses the result of a coin toss. Whoever guesses correctly stays standing and the game is played until you are down to one person left.

Your prediction not only describes this person *exactly* but also their winning guess!

Down to One is a simple 6-8 minute routine where everyone gets involved. While it's a perfect opener, Down to One and can be performed at any point in your show.

Comes with a bespoke designed coin, Tyvek envelope and 16-page instruction bookletwith full colour photos, QR code link to video explanations and several presentations and ideas.

If you are looking for guaranteed great reactions from your audience, get Down to One.

Although I didn’t get this at penguin ( wasn’t available here when I purchased it ), this is a perfect effect to get the entire crowd to participate in. Easily a 5 + minute effect. Only 2 moves you need to do which will be learned in under a minute. If you can flip a coin you can do this trick. Comes with a non gimmick coin and envelope which will last a very long time ( you can even make your own envelopes with ease ). Comes with written instruction and 2 short videos to teach you the special moves. A great opening piece to break the ice with the audience before you nail the ending and get a standing ovation. Some pre show work behind the scenes then your ready to go.
A beginner can easily do this effect.
Highly recommended.

Okay so I just performed this for some people at work and they love it. Everyone agrees it’s a fantastic opener as well as a great way to have audience participation. Every high praise that has been given about this trick is true. Why am I giving it 4 stars though? This price is WAY too expensive for what you’re getting. I expected some fancy gimmicks that would be specific to this, and the only way this trick could work. But what you’re getting is the routine along with a normal coin and a special envelope that any hobbyist magician could easily make if you know what the secret is.

As great as this is, it does not need to be 75 dollars (or 65 on penguin). You can get Wes Iselis Flip for 20 and he covers the same type of routine and material. While there is a distinct difference between that routine and this, it doesn’t seem fair to charge 50 dollars more just to have a tweak from Flip’s stand up routine (along with some very clever extra bonus ideas I might add). But it’s a booklet explaining it, along with one 1.5 minute video that only shows the moves a couple times.

Granted, this is a debate many magicians have (cost of routine and reactions justify the price). The reactions of course are priceless, so in that aspect, you get your moneys worth. I’m more talking about the materials you get in relation to cost. If you think 65 dollars justifies a normal coin, one special envelope, and a booklet with some ideas and a 1.5 minute video, then go for it. For me though, I’ll stick to Flip for 20 dollars and get nearly the same reactions.
