When it comes to different things you can do for magic, levitations are always top of the list when
it comes to reactions. You will learn classic tricks such as the basic floating dollar, but you will
also learn some other cool tricks that you'll use. You'll have to buy some invisible thread in order
to perform these so unfortunately these aren't impromptu. That is, all except the Balducci self
levitation. If you've never done a self levitation than you're missing out. The Balducci is in my
opinion the best self levitation out there. I used to perform it all the time and although you only
go about 3 or 4 inches, people will be so amazed they will swear you were at least a foot off the
ground.

I got this as a VHS but I see now that they have it on DVD. This was my introduction to levitation.
This was the first time I have ever seen (or not seen) invisible thread, thread reels and more.
Sadly, I can't find the tape which means I won't be watching it anytime soon.
There are three dollar bill levitations, one being a very unknown concept. Then there's the classic floating match on playing card. There is a weird swiss army knife balancing on a credit card effect by Paul Harris. He also teaches a dancing cane routine + how to gimmick the cane. Then there's a floating ball routine which is a little long because Michael acts very dramatic (I found this hilarious). Last but not least there is the famous Balducci levitation. When I first saw it, I was amazed. When I learned it, I was astounded by how simple it was. I remember finding Michael's explanations a little confusing. It's not the best levitation DVD out there but it's decent. And it's under $10. Did this review help you?
