A round plastic box and a penny are resting upon the table. The Penny Smasher (round box) is picked up and used like a hammer to smash the penny. The box is then lifted only to find the penny has split into two tiny pennies! When the box is opened the left-over scraps are found inside!

This is a neat effect; not the most practical, and definitely not instantly reset, but this is just easy, powerful goodness in a cheap package.

I really like this effect; the fact that you can apparently smash a coin into TWO smaller ones not only makes this effect powerful but also unpredictable. If you use the patter provided, you are telling them you will SMASH the coin... Well, when you split it, it becomes a different and unexpected effect.

Highly recommended.
