You would think after several years of designing, developing, and delivering these lessons, Dan
Harlan would grow tired of them! But here - even toward the end of what will surely be his legacy -
he gives us his best again! He explains the performance of the cabinet in great length and provides
detailed plans on how to make one. And the quality with which he constructed his cabinet - amazing!
Finally, the performances themselves! Wow! Even if you have no desire to build the cabinet, get the
video just to check out the performances. Two words: Lamp post! Now you have to watch to see what I
mean! Fantastic effort on Dan's part, and it shows! On a scale of 1-5, I'd give it a 6.

First build the two large props and then watch Dan do great things with them. Good full stage
effects. Only took off one star as not everyone has the tools or space to build or store the props.
Not Dan's fault the props are what they are. Still worth getting to see how the effects were
choreographed.

These tricks are routines for stage illusions. They are all of the "box and costumes" variety.
The cabinet has good ideas behind it. I It doesn't need to be made as large as they made it
here. You might want to rethink the door rail, although it isn't that important. If you aren't up to
building it, every routine here can be done with simpler containers.
The black art vanish
looks great, but it's a lot of work for one moment of magic. I liked all the details on how to make
it.

Love all videos in this series
This would be great of a large cast needs to be produced, Also Things that go Bump in the Night
version Dan showed was a good additional use.
I’m not big on the actual pantomime plays,
but this less one was about the versatile cabinet.
As always, Dan’s teaching was great. And
it is nice to see more information on stage illusions, not just the usual close up material.
Not anything I want to put into my magic. However, Dan, as always ,does a great job
