The Effect You show the back of a card and ask a spectator to guess which color the face is... red or black.
The odds that he/she is correct are 50/50.
You show the back of each card making two piles... if the spectator guesses red you put the card in one pile, and if he/she guesses black you put the card in another pile.
By the end of the trick you've given the spectator 52 completely free choices, red or black...
You turn the two piles over to reveal that your spectator has identified the color of each card perfectly.

This is one of the classic effects of card magic that everyone needs to know. If you don't, then this is a good place to start.
This is a very easy effect to perform... absolutely no sleights. Any beginner can manage this one, and yet the reactions are just so good, especially in relation to the difficulty level.
My only issue is that this is merely the original, classic version. This is such a classic effect, there have been countless variations and improvements over the years. There literally are books written solely about this one effect and its history and evolution. So, when you get to that one part of the routine that you might not like so much, be aware that there have been many subsequent attempts to make it more deceptive. For the beginning card worker, this download should be considered the beginning, not the end, of your education in this effect.

This is one of the few tricks that I learned when I first started doing magic that I still do today. This is one of the most amazing tricks you can do as a magician and the best part is that the spectator does all the work. You'll need to use this as an opener, but I like that because I just tell the spectator that I need to find out if I can trust them before moving on. Afterwards, they are just blown away. Buy this and you'll have something that you can use forever.

I absolutely love this trick. I use it all the time. It will fool just about everyone, and appears to truly be a miracle. You can even have the spectator place some of the cards in the piles, ensuring that no "funny business" on your part is happening. The one downside is, is that it does require some set-up, and is not completely impromptu. This trick is truly out of this world, and you won't be disappointed.

You really have to pay attention to your patter on this one, your you won't get great reactions. However, when played up right, the reactions can't be beat! This is a fantastic effect that I would recommend to anyone. It can even be easily set up in front of your spectators without them knowing! Three words. Add To Cart!
