The 5 starts says it all.
This DVD is for people who want to be professional magicians, but someone who's a small-time Blaine-like hobbyist.
You do not need to know how to sleeve for the Bill in Kiwi. You just need to know how to shuttle (or some other similar pass).
There are two outside props you need for his exact routing. The Dream Tear, and the card to sock (which is so brilliant, it might just be worth the trouble).
The rest of the act is wonderful, and what little he doesn't teach you on the DvD; as far as alternate handlings, you should be able to intuit, yourself.
These are moderate-hard tricks. Nothing on the DVD is garbage. The person performing these tricks is probably the best magician living, today.

This is not worth because most of the tricks are impractical and require ADVANCED sleeving. Don't even think about getting this unless you always wear a large-pocketed jacket and own a kiwi farm. Can you do it with other fruit? yes, but it's much more hard to do with apples or citrus fruits. (a kiwi happens to be nice, soft, and skinless on the inside). How many of these effects will you perform? At most a couple. Oh yeah, this is parlor magic, not close-up, not strolling, not stage, definitely not street, and is done for a seated audience. If that doesn't appeal to your performance style, you're not alone.

As an amateur, I can't imagine adding this to my repertoire. All routines require gimmicks and set-ups galore, and while the routines themselves are *stunners*, I'm just not sold on the practicality of them. I, for instance, do not have a circular saw, so there's one effect out the window. I also don't feel like altering my clothing or always wearing long sleeves so there go most of the rest. Most pros already know one version of this trick, this is a good handling and good teaching but to me, is virtually useless. I do like the Cards Across routine.

How can a spectator's signed dollar bill appear in a kiwi that has been in their pocket the whole time? This is a nice little effect that you will want to do over and over again. This trick is a reputation starter. Get it now!
