If you just want to make a word disappear, the xpert device would do just fine. But this sharpie contains a special gimmick which is best suited for the transfer of the x to something, or someone else.

Depends on the size of the word but you can do that as well! You won't be able to mark them with the same word though

For a word to appear, I would think that Tagged by Richard Ferguson would be a better option.
