prism do you have to know some sleight of hand for some of the tricks

It depends on the trick. There are a bunch of easy to do self-working effects that use no sleight of hand. There are a couple that require memory work but there's no physical dexterity. And then there are a few effects that require a little bit of manipulation.

The amount of self working magic in this book is significant though. Kirigami, for instance is completely hands off. You just give the participant instructions and the magic happens to them in their hands.
