I just wanted to say that Jay Sankey is one of the most talented people I have ever seen. I have
learned a lot from this video. It is an awesome teaching tool loaded with very good coin stuff. I
can't say enough about Jay's skill. The reason I give the the video such a low score is for his
constant jokes about Christianity. I am not a prude and I do enjoy a good joke but Jay crosses a
line that shouldn't be crossed. Its too bad that such a talent has to resort to these kind of
tactics. I will never buy anything from Jay again because of this. Jay has a neat sense of humor and
made me laugh over and over but the Christian jokes arent funny.
I do not know Chad, personally, but I admire his taking a stand on this issue. I am one who would probably be responding in like manner if I had made the same purchase. I am saddened that this is the case with Jay, because I was hoping to learn so much from him, and who knows, I may still.
Chad has stated his review in a kind, believable manner, taking care not to sound radical or "thump" anyone, but I agree with him that religious humor, especially if perceived as mockery, as obvious with Chad's perception of Jay's humorous attempts, has no place among magic brothers and sisters - or with me, no matter how much fame or popularity is behind the magic.
This is where reviews of this nature become difficult, simply because by the time I've responded to this 2003 review, Jay may now have had second thoughts and reneged from this practice, in which case, a Christian is bound to forgive those who seek forgiveness. I'll hope I read somewhere, perhaps on this review page, that this has been the case with Jay, as I, too, enjoy his many wonderful contributions to the world of magic.
