I hoped that these paperclips work, but they won´t. I just get the 90 degrees maximum and they break very fast. Not usable.

you only get 90 degrees you need to practise where you do that method

You could have the same result purchasing the clips from outside. Weather conditions do play a factor but if you know how to play up the effect and/or use some of the ideas offered on the DVD (assuming you have it) I'm sure you'll be good to go in no time.
