After naming the QH & AS as the two most popular cards, you ask someone to name a third card. A prediction shows you knew the card they would name! While all the other cards have different numbers on their back up to 52, the QH & AS have #1 and #2 on their back and the named card has #3. As a final kicker, you turn over the deck to show every card is blank!

Handling takes some practice Report this review

This is a relatively strong effect that but takes moderate practice to handle the handling well. Set aside an hour or two to get the handling right, but it is not an effect you will be able to just watching it once through.

My instructions were badly printed with the printed words on two of the pages being printed on twice with misaliged words so I was seeing double of each word on those two pages. It made reading the instruction slow and confusing. On the pages that did print well, I wish that the instructions for making the gimmick were a little clearer. (Yes, you have to make your own gimmick the first time round, so that takes 15mins or so).

I couldn't be happier with Rule of Three. If you can get the audience involved and keep their interest tHan you have a winner. I have tried using multiple spectators to help chooset the car as well by having one person choose the color, another the suit and finally the value. This works amazingly well in getting reactions.

I think this is possibly the best premise and best effect using the special Phoenix playing cards to date. This is a wonderful card trick!

I've performed Rule Of Three and it not only plays big, it's easy to do. It's a fun routine to perform and it gets everyone involved ( connecting with the audience, because there are NO spectators, as Jon has educated us all ).

The well written instructions ( with color photographs ) include an alternative handling that is equally as clever as the one you see in the demo. Whatever version you choose, what your audience will remember is that they named ANY card and the killer blank deck finale.

A+++ on this wonderful trick!

While this trick is bit pricey, the reactions I get are quite good. The clean up is relatively easy as well as the one time set up. It is only a single trick but is very good, and if you like what you see in the trailer, then get it!

I love this trick. Yes, it's a one trick pony, but it's a killer. There is laughter, misdirection, applause. It is Dean Dill's Blizzard with a punch; both effects are good and different in their own ways.

When I originally bought this trick I was pretty sure I knew the method but was a little worried about how to pull it all off. I can truly say that after buying this trick it is easy to do and will look exactly like it does in the video. Finally, this trick has a real "WOW" factor at the end when the spectators see that the rest of the cards are blank. I get a great reaction every time that I use it! This is a "must buy" trick.
