I did not purchase this from Penguin but got it from my local brick and mortar shop. Another review says this effect does not use forceps and uses a dime instead of a quarter. In fact, this DVD shows TWO different versions of this effect. The first version is by Tyler Sutter and it DOES use a quarter and he DOES use forceps. His performances are amazing. The second version is by Lonnie Lyerla and his uses a dime and no forceps. These two effects are not the same. Both are very interesting and look very good. You don't watch this DVD and do the effect immediately. It takes some practice. But ALL magic SHOULD be practiced to be good. I am VERY happy I purchased this DVD. If you think you like this kind of effect, I recommend it.

This is truly gross and magically looks really good. Unfortunately, it is nothing like the trailer

1) First note, the picture on the cover of the DVD AND the trailer show a quarter. You would need a truly monster-sized nose and nostril to do this with a quarter. It is done with a dime.

2) Unlike the trailer, forceps are not used.

3)The dime is "apparently" put in your eye, not in your mouth as shown on the trailer.

4) You need a 2 sided dime that is not included.

5) You need and a watch with a wide leather or rubber band.

With all this negative, it still is a great "geek magic" trick.

Still, you would better by spending your money on "Geek Magic with Tomas Medina" here on Penguin, which is cheaper and has the same, yet better, routine with a tic-tac and many other good routines.
