I'm not a fan of mentalism effects...but as usual, there are exceptions to every rule.
The
effect and routine:
Absolutely wonderful. Depending on your personality, you can sell this
routine in a mystic aura atmosphere...or just demonstrate "influencing" a spectator's choice in a
more comic non-serious manner. Either way, the presentation for this gem of an effect is crucial, so
better make it worthwhile.
The props:
Beautiful discs (just a little larger than a
dollar coin), made from wood with smooth surfaces (no splinters), with beautifully drawn shapes. The
cloth bag serves its purpose as both convenient storage, and a pretty display when presenting the
wooden discs. As for the message, the one provided can be used, or if your imagination dominates
you, have the message printed in different fonts(perhaps ancient writings for example).
Overall, an absolutely astonishing effect of mentalism; not too complicated, and its simplicity
can be obscured and seem impossible with the presentation....make sure you work on that! ;)

I love this effect...simple and easy to do, but still leaves spectator puzzled as to what just
happened. Takes just a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the handling, then you're set to
go..no sleights or misdirection to worry about. Though not repeatable to the same audience, this is
powerful to those who you choose to perform for...just buy it, see for yourself !!

I must admit that I was quite taken with both the strength and simplicity of this trick, as it's the
same principle as Fair Play. It has a much fairer price, but has a rather fragile gimmick. Perhaps
some protective laminate would add to the durability of the gimmick. I've purchased the trick twice,
because A: I really like this trick. B: It's strong, simple and has multiple outs. C: The gimmick
images were rubbing-off and I was not using them yet. They looked fine when I un-boxed them to check
everthing. After that they'd been stored in their bag.

I can't believe I'm the first person to review this. It is a very practical and easy to do effect.
The method works well when presented correctly and you hear a lot of references to this trick by
other creators. It is a good effect and a real good price. One downside is it is not the kind of
thing you want to do for someone more than once. If you get this, I recommend a trick called
Espionage because the methods are different so you can do them in place of repeating Free Will for
the same person later on or do Espionage and Free Will one after the other for a bunch of routines
that are self working. I've had Free Will for many years and recommend it easily.

Great trick with no sleight of hand needed and you can learn it in minutes. It has boggled the mind
of everyone I have performed it on!

for a mentalism routine I've ever seen!

Nicely made and easy to carry around. It's a great trick to get comfortable with equivoque-type
mental effects. Good patter opportunities, very direct, a terrific little fooler and
attention-getter. Good for all ability levels.

Love this effect as I had it before. This is a strange really disappointing version of the
original. Off center logos, instructions don’t match the props and the “revelation” was a poor copy
that you can barely read. Returned it for credit!

Unfortunately, being made in wood like wooden nickels, there are many natural differences between
the coins that a spectator can assume (wrongly) you use to determine which coin is which. It would
be a fantastic set if it were made in black plastic chips with white printed designs.
