Gazzo knows his stuff for sure. His teaching method is awesome and his instructions are good. Rewind and watch the phases over and over again to get his timing and method down.
However... 4 stars because there are some bold moves in this routine that requires awesome misdirection and the proper equipment to pull everything off. His poachers pouch, table, cups and balls, etc etc are pretty much needed to do this routine faithfully, obviously. I attempted to do this with a usual set of cups and balls, but I do not have a pouch, so everything for me was different. Learn the techniques, perhaps make your own props and go out to the streets and try it there, but put in the hours of practice and patter to get it seamless.
His jokes/insults are for show; use them as you see fit, but just kinda watch your mouth sometimes. Haha... Good ol' Gazzo.
Anyways, awesome DVD, learn it, use it, perfect it.

I have been interested on cups and balls since I was a child. Now I am a actual performer on streets, I found many resources about this classic routin of cups and balls. I realized as soon as I watched this lecture that it was for professionals... Gazzo is the best teacher yet, and one of the most entertaining magician on streets! I have once visited London and settled for while at the Covent Garden. 'Every-day' I saw different magicians doing cups and balls (I saw about 5 in a row in 5 days!).. and guess what? They all use Gazzo's skills, Gazzo's jokes, Gazzo's subtleties, Gazzo's phrases... They all completly copy Gazzo's routine! It's that good! Whether you are interested on the cups and balls or not, buy this dvd.. If you are considering and thinking of buying it, no thinking, just buy it! Cannot go wrong with this one!

Preformer- As watching Gazzo preform i did not like him, he seemed kind of bi-poler. He mocks out the crowed and then later telling them there the best crowd tip me. I know it's part of the act but its some preforming technique i would'nt try.
Teacher- Gazzo is a good teacher. He is differnt when teacher and does get the point across.
Moral- I would'nt use Gazzos preforming technique but his routine with a patter of your style is very good.

Gazzo is a true artist. He has created an entire "persona" for his act and lives it every day. His work on this DVD is fantastic. He gets away with criticizing his audience and they love him for it! You'll learn all the right moves for the cups and balls and you'll even learn what you need to buy or make concerning a mobile table and props. Certainly worth the money for any serious artist.

If you want to learn cups and balls, this is it. I've bought lots of different cups and balls DVDs and this I have to say is tops. Gazzo is a good teacher, good performer and hilarious. All the sections of the DVD is worth watching. Highly recommended!
