From the mind of Daniel Garcia comes a torn and restored card routine that will make you smile.
"You've got a great smile." -- Daniel Garcia
A card is selected and signed.
You explain: Your "secret" is a small "CRIMP" you put in the card so you can find it.
You demonstrate: Your "CRIMP" is actually a hilariously large chunk that you tear off of the corner of their signed card.
You explain: This "CRIMP" allows you to cut to their selection "just by feeling for the missing part".
You confess: There's one small problem with your method... sometimes a spectator with "a highly trained eye" will notice the extra piece. With this, you pick up the torn chunk of card from the table and place it on top of the spectator's signed card.
You give the deck a couple of tiny shakes to position the CHUNK into place. As you wipe your thumb over the tear, the card is VISUALLY restored.
Immediately hand your spectator their signed card. It's COMPLETELY RESTORED.
Now take a moment to relax and enjoy and bathe in love. You're completely re-set for the next table.

This trick is a great trick to do, but it is a bit tricky to master. It is a simple trick to do but a bit more to master. The problem with this trick is that if you are left handed yo may find it slightly more difficult to do. You could remake the gimmick the opposite way but i find the trick isn't as strong because they don't have the corner of the card with the value and suit in there hand. I do still Recommend this trick to slightly more advanced magicians. 4 Star ****

Don't compare it to Torn.

Don't compare this to Torn, they are two different effects. This one is a lot more suitable to walkaround magic where you're surrounded by people from all angles. It is a great trick and is pretty easy to perform. Danny Garcia teaches every aspect of the trick very well and is a pleasure to watch perform (as always).
bought it cause i heard him on bbliveshow and was amazed by the stuff he can do. this trick is simply fasicnating though it takes some construction you WILL NOT REGRET this trick still amazes me each and every time i see it done and i am on the inside trust me this trick is worth every penny when you see peoples faces

great gimmick

it is nice to find a visual torn and restored that doesnt require making a new gimmick each performance or wasting more than one card. this is best performed in low lighting situations, however if you have a personality and can control your audience, the illusion will fly right over their heads. great trick!

Torn is better..

If u already own torn and want a strolling effect,u might wanna get this, but for the basic handling you might not want to do it in a quiet place,a little bit of talking or music will help, but i love the 2nd handling the spectators see the card get tear!! But for those of you who are thinking on getting Torn or Torn Too,i will rather u get Torn, requires a little setup but is in your face kinda trick.
