If you haven't figured out by now, I am a HUGE Andrew Mayne fan. However, I am a close-up magician. When I found out that Andrew was selling 5 of his original, amazing stage effects in a book for 9 dollars though, how could I possibly reject that offer?

That is exactly what this book is; a collection of practical, cheap and powerful stage magic. I really have wanted to get into stage magic for a long time, and this DVD allows me to do JUST that, without spending any money.

Oh, and to quote Andrew at the beginning of the book...

"I'm going to let you in on a little secret you may or may not be aware of. This is something that I have discussed with fellow performers as well as observed by myself; your audience doesn't care how much a trick cost OR how long you spent learning it."

Which is a statement I feel that magicians all to often lose sight of. Pick up this book and realize that with a couple dollars, you can perform stage illusions that are as good if not BETTER than on TV.

This is an amazing book for any magician whether you are just starting out and wanting to get into stage illusions or if you are already a pro and want something different. All of the tricks in here are extremely cheap which is great and are amazing. I love this book sooooo much and highly recommend it to any magician.

Just as expected. Andrew has some very clever ideas on how to present some very strong magic. Don't stop to think about them or over analysis the idea, you will talk yourself out of trying them. Believe me his ideas work. The book is well written with illustrations to give the reader a better idea of the process. Andrew stated it best when he said these are not David Copperfield presentations, these are quick and to the point but they can be powerful. These will require a set up, stage would work best. At worst, this book will kick start your thinking process.
