I am disappointed with the quality of the deck.
They are not cut evenly with each other.
The edges look like they were just painted white.
They are too white. It doesnt look
natural at all; suspicious looking.
The white paint bled over the edges and look sloppy.
some edges, the white paint came off already.
The corners are not rounded the same as a
regular deck - meaning if you take one transparent card and put it in a regular deck, it will act
like a short card.
They are not scratch resistant. Fresh out of the box, some of the cards
already had significant scratches (i.e., not the result of casual handling).
I like the
idea behind ia transparent deck, but am surprised with the production quality.

I personally think this COULD be stronger than the classic Omni deck! They can push the card in and
the revelation is absolutely brilliant. When you spread through to find their card, it almost looks
like their card is slowly materializing!! Really like it and Josh Jay has some helpful tips as well
on the DVD.

This effect, WOW! I bought int directly from Vanishing Inc. I was a bit skeptical at first - unhappy
with how it looked but I decided to take this to the streets and I can happily say that THIS is my
closer at the restaurants. THIS effect brings me the tips. I use Shawn Farquhar's deck switch that
he teaches on his Penguin Lecture and I promise you, it is lethal. I swear it can cause the elderly
to need medical attention.
I agree, stronger than omnideck. I have been using this for
just under a year now - I definitely got my moneys worth! So will you. ADD TO CARD NOW!!!

I was a little hesitant getting the Phantom Deck by Joshua Jay because I had read some negative
reviews regarding the quality of the deck; not being evenly cut, corners don't match, etc.... but
these must have been older reviews, because the Phantom Deck I received was beautifully produced!
The edges/corners look just like a real deck, and each card is perfectly cut the same size
and shape. It's also super easy to perform with, which I have done twice now, and I'm actually
surprised at the reactions I get... people are genuinely shocked when the "real deck" turns into a
see through deck of cards!
I was going to take one star away because the cards do get
scratched up very easily, but this doesn't affect the performance at all; people are just too
baffled by the magic that happened in their hands to notice little tiny scratches. So 5 Stars from

The Phantom Deck by Joshua Jay is great.
I have the Omni Deck and I've used to use it as a segue
trick. Transitioning from one routine to another. But now i ONLY use the Phantom Deck.
switches are smoother because I can do a slight spread, which is impossible with the Omni Deck.
The audiance prefers the Phantom Deck because when they realize all the cards have changed to
clear cards, they can rifle through the cards. AND THEY'RE AMAZED AT EACH CARD!
I love the

I'm a fan of Joshua Jay because he's so very creative with the props he creates.
is easy to do because you can do practically anything with it but the routine Joshua shows in the
video is basically ready to go for beginners and pros a like and is so different from what most
folks have seen that it's impossible not to love it.
Some have said the price is too high
considering what you get - which is a deck of transparent plastic cards. But, I feel It's worth it
to support magicians who bring quality props to life - otherwise - how will we keep getting these
This is a really visual and memorable trick because after the volunteer
puts their signed/regular card into the middle of this deck and you slowly thumb through it to
arrive at the signed card - it almost seems to look as if the card is materializing within this
plastic haze by the time you finally arrive at it.
There are definitely other uses - which
is another bonus - but if you just wind up only doing the trick from the video - that in itself is
worth the money because of the completely memorable impression it makes.
the quality is top-notch! you won’t regret it.
I love this gimmick. It is a top class professional trick that you can lear very fast. The switches
he teaches are very practical. I will be using this in all my future gigs.
For me this is a great effect like many things in magic, it's only limited by your imagination and
the Phantom Deck has endless possibilities .
I would highly recommend this deck
done Joshua for coming up with this wonderful idea .
