Every single other pad of this quality (materials, construction, aesthetic) is at least triple the price. Having used only Murphys pads, and then trying some incredibly expensive ones like Vorst & Bosch, I vastly prefer this. It grips well on every surface, has a hard base, and the material feels like a velvety casino table. Large size is perfect for a visible ribbon spread, but the smaller one is better suited for more shuffles and laying things down. After much searching...this one suits my style and purpose best.
