I purchased this download, along with a few others Penguin will soon make available, direct from Colin a month or two ago.

Quite simply, this set of videos is one of the best investments I've made in the last year or two.

ENVision is a one hour "deep dive" dissection of a real-world routine that Colin has used COUNTLESS times in live and televised performances.

This is an update on the routine "By Association" from his book DIVINE. He has pushed the core idea much further and turned this into a mini confabulation using the simplest of items (an envelope, a pen and a piece of paper).

"By Association" didn't capture my imagination in a big way when I read DIVINE, but "ENVision" is something I'm absolutely going to play with. At the end of this download Colin also tips his pet headline prediction (based on Bruce Bernstein's "A Sporting Prediction").

Here's the thing - I've been a fan of Colin's thinking for years, so I already knew all of the core ideas/techniques utilized within these newest downloads. That said, I'm still EXTREMELY pleased with these projects.

There are few mentalists out there that have performed as frequently, for as many people, and in as many "high pressure" environments as Colin. When someone like that speaks, I listen.

It was illuminating to hear him explain why he made some of the choices he did when using this material on TV (and in other contexts). These insights ALONE were, for me, more than worth the cost of admission. It was also a pleasure to view several never before shared performances of this routine.

In short, get this not only for the wonderful routine taught, but more importantly for the thoughts/touches that Colin shares as a true master of his craft.

Colin, I am now a new fan. Reason being is just pure timing... I wanted a confabulation effect, the others on the market had their drawbacks, then you came along with this amazing routine that I will be using, in particular,,, the last one you taught, I think it is 100% clean, the only reason for 4 stars is the price for the material, this is great but.... almost 50... idk. I love what you did here and will use it, but we are in trying times, I feel the lessons were taught without deeper subtleties that I was expecting from a performer of your caliber. Now don’t mistake that as disrespect, you provide the blueprints and I believe it is our job as performers to learn from experience, but I am not an experienced mentalist, so I will have to try my best to sell this to laypeople. Thank you for this though, truly... this gave me a shred of happiness in all these dark times.... I can now do a confabulation that will fool

I have to say that I wasn’t sure I wanna get into this. Because of some comments from a previous download of Colin that are now removed. But after reading a review I thought to give it a go and I don’t regret at all.

What I love is that there is no real pre work in the real sense of the word and that is what I love the most. You need to do certain things there but no asking questions required. I honestly used similar principal that Colin speaks about, as a tip for even greater reactions, many times as a go to effect. And people freak out because they know it is too personal to know.

Real glad I went on and got this. It’s practical and you can play around and make it your own routine. Thanks very much Colin.

This and the other videos in Colin's series are not brief explanations of single effects that teach you the bare basics so you can run out and entertain friends, colleagues, and cohorts. Yes, ENVision is a great routine, and the routine alone is worth the price; however, if that’s all you’re interested in learning, then buying this download would be like ordering a meal in a 5-star restaurant just to get the sprig of parsley used as a garnish. Besides the routine, the video provides Colin’s method of how he analyzes his performances and finds what he perceives to be weaknesses, then how he proceeds to find solutions to those weaknesses. Colin doesn't simply invent or construct routines; he builds relationships with them that evolve over time. Included in the download is footage of both early and later performances along with annotations highlighting the changes. Literally seeing the effect and his presentation grow is one of the more valuable and enjoyable lessons learned from this video. In short, this video (and the others in the series) are saturated with tips and handlings that are well-worth the conscientious and thoughtful performer's time and money. You will watch this video multiple times and come away with something new and valuable after each viewing.

The effect is great, but the dirty work is pretty obvious when you see the full uncut performance. There is a reason you do not see an uncut version. I like the premise of the performance, so I got some value, but not $35 dollars worth. Ma

I bought this in hopes of using it as the backbone to my virtual show, having it sit on a stand in full view, throughout the act. Writing the random info on the envelope between effects to later be revealed as the climax.
However, that would make the handling way more knacky then it already is. Some may like it but definitely not something I’ll use.

Colin has put the real work into this routine.

The download covers his thoughts, workings and tips on how to maximize confabulation/headline prediction. I am beyond grateful he shared his real world experiences.

Colin has performed this routine countless times and it shows.

Easy to set up and perform. Focuses on the audience. Customizable to any company, theme, party or venue. No wallet or special apparatus needed. Can be adapted close up, parlor, stage, virtually, over the radio, etc. Can be done as a solo performer.

I can’t speak for everyone but, It’s exactly what I needed.

The teaching is really good, and the subtleties is properly explained. Its a powerful effect and ends completely clean. Can be performed easily online, and i actually will practice it online with my friends before I will go out and perform this. I feel the price is a bit much, but with what you are getting, I am fine with it. Excellent job, Colin.

I like the concept of minimal props and very flexible with the info reveal. Can be repeated using different reveals.
