WAY Better Than Messado Rings Report this review

My review is based on 45+ years as a working pro and someone who has performed the rings for decades and worked with Owen and other top quality rings in sizes ranging from 15" to 4". In terms of quality and finish, the original 4.5" Shoot Ogawa Ninja Rings are the gold standard, but sadly, are no longer made. Next are the 4.5" Matthew Garrett rings (nice quality, but also a bit pricey). That said, my new favorites are the 4" TCC rings. Smooth welds and high quality finish, both in chrome and black. In particular, the black rings CRUSH the 4.5" Messado Rings, both in terms of smooth welds and finish. Don't let the low price fool you - the TCC rings are FAR superior and, at a third of the price of Messado Rings, are a BARGAIN. At this price, buy two sets. You can thank me later! :-)

Mark (in another reviewed) said it is a good product. I would trust his experience in using this, or similar rings.

the description of the product "A basic video guide is included"
the website training, in my experience, as a beginner, was not very good.

there was no tutorial included, nor a link I was aware of.
I was given directions by Penguin with a website and access. They were helpful in finding a resolution, for which I am grateful.
