This is fun and well done! Makes me want to go thru my old magic and see what can be made new!

Wow, what a find. Has this ever happened to you - you watch a video demonstrating an amazing card
effect, you buy in and then realize that the slight involved in more complex than you expected, the
video cut out integral parts that if you had seen them you would not have made the purchase, you
could not repeat it immediately for the same spectators … With Pocket Daydream what you see is what
you get. No cuts, no sophisticated sleights or moves to learn, use your deck or a borrowed one,
spectator shuffles, there are no forces and you will be doing this minutes after you learn it - I
did. I read some of the comments that people made on the first review and you are not totally wrong,
this is based on an an old effect from Tarbell with a few modifications. I think Harry did a fine
job and don’t forget the primary reason you buy these effects is to fool and entertain your
spectators not necessarily other Magicians. Would it be a better buy at half the price - sure, $10
is a little much for this but I look at this as an investment.
This is a great trick that will full everyone.
Very simple to perform and will be adding
this to my set ASAP.
Order - you're going to love it.
Well presented nice one if your caught on the fly and presented a pack of cards
Very good pattern, not difficult. For me it is worth!
It is a new presentation on an older effect, and he DOES credit the originator in his explanation.
This can be fun and will fool people as long as you don't pick it apart yourself. Stop
worrying about his presentation and make it your own.
Does it require slights? Not
technically, and can easily be done on an off-beat with any decent presentation or performance.
This was not thought through. The trick is flawed, and could have been better with a little more
thought. At the end, having to ask what position their card was in is a major flaw. Anytime a
magician asks a question that makes no sense, it WILL around suspicion. If he already took out two
of the three cards that are not their card, why does he need to ask what position their card was in?
I am strictly an amateur magician who performs only for friends. Pocket Daydream is easy to learn,
easy to do, and astounds the audience. A great illusion!
I've been doing magic for 25 years. (CRAP! I'm old!) I feel a bit as you all do sometimes...how did
I not see this coming? But the slight tweak in presentation with POCKET DAYDREAM really did disarm
me as a magician, and brought a powerful surprise. Did this for my wife (2 x in a row as this is
instantly repeatable). She has seen a ton of magic and knows what to look for. Normally, effects
get weaker the 2nd time around...this one escalated, due in part to the way it takes a different
path than we as magicians normally look for. Her reaction was the BEST I've had from her in a
looong time. Best parts for me (impromptu, borrowed deck, and unique - not a straight up 'find your
card') Been working it and it is a worker for sure.
This one, easy on the sleights...allows
you to solely focus on presentation, allowing you to play this up as big as you like.
