This Flipper coin features my new "RK Band". Its been created and manufactured by Roy Kueppers. These bands have a shelf life of 40 plus years without deteriorating. Meaning that if it sits or is stored for an Extended period of time such as in a Magic shop, Dresser Drawer, Pocket, on a shelf or even Extreme Heat or cold etc it will remain in its original condition. Nothing bothered me more than pulling out my flipper or folding coin and finding that the band was deteriorated which sometimes even crystalized after sitting for a period of time. Even the spare bands were useless as they naturally dried out in the same amount of time. There had to be an answer and this is it.

The RK Band is not made from rubber substance or Latex like Dental bands.

The closest product used by some manufacturers is elastic thread which is problamatic and hard to replace because it is not in a band form but comes in a length and needs to be tied in a knot. Anyone who has done this knows how much fun it is....NOT fun at all.

In regards to breakage it should be known that it is still susceptible to breakage which can happen from a number of reasons. One is natural wear as it is dragged across the sharp edges of a cut coin as it is folded over and over. Another way it can break is if it stretched beyond normal useage or over stretched when being attached to the coin. For this rerason I include One spare RK Band with each Flipper coin purchased. Bands are also available separately.

EFFECT;
A US Half Dollar coin is shown to be normal in appearance from both sides and then held between thumb and first finger. The other hand is shown empty and passes In Front of the coin being held by the other hand. Now two coins are shown at the finger tips. The second hand takes away one of the coins and when the hand is shown, the coin has vanished into thin air.
