Fundamentals of Sleight of Hand

This class is a complete introduction to performing Sleight of Hand with coins in a uniquely structured curriculum where every class builds perfectly on the content from the previous class. Each class reveals lots of magical applications for every new technique, demonstrating the value of each new skill and the reward for learning it. By the end of the fifth class you will be able to perform dozens of effects with coins - or anything else you can hold in your hands - all based on mastering these fundamentals of Sleight of Hand.

Also covered in each class will be an examination of Body Language, and the powerful role it plays in the performance of magic. Non-verbal communication is probably the most important element in Sleight of Hand, and yet its role in magic has never been directly addressed.

Each class will be supplemented with a 4 page review with numerous full color photos of everything covered in complete detail.

a small jar with a lid
a jumbo coin to match the halves

Class Policies

It is mandatory that all students have a working video camera and leave it on for the duration of each class.

These sessions are not to be recorded. Please do not use Zoom’s recording feature, or third-party recording software to store these classes for later viewing.

Registration can be cancelled or changed until 5 days prior to the class start date. If you are purchasing classes as a gift, it is your responsibility to inform us of the recipient’s name during checkout or by emailing support@penguinmagic.com. Late cancellations, transfers, name changes cannot be accommodated after the cancellation/change cutoff date.
