This is one of those very professional-looking tricks that's very easy to do and extremely deceptive. Good for people who want to get their feet wet performing.

The major missing part was to explain that the pack should be slightly fanned to the right to allow the riffle to take place smoothly.

This is a pretty good video that teaches you one way to get a peek. You can use this utility to perform mentalism or card magic. I believe its something that is under used but is simple yet still able to generate some great reactions.
