I've performed many versions of the Mental Choice effect and this is obviously a great one, but I wanted to applaud the honest advertising for this. The inventors show you each and every out in their ad for the trick, so you can evaluate its effectiveness BEFORE you purchase. This is such a rare thing in Magic! Congratulations!

Bonus idea: Wear a bracelet of the five lucky charms. On the back of one is engraved "YOU WILL CHOOSE THIS ONE!" and on the backs of the others it says "Not this one!" Use as an additional out for the out you least like.

Second bonus idea: Alternate the five "hot" charm cards (provided) with five different charm cards you've fabricated to match their appearance. Ask your spectator to eliminate half of them by calling out ODD or EVEN. Give her the choice of counting from the left or right end. Equivoque her choice: If she says even and wants to count from the right end, either push the even numbered charms towards her (if they are the hot 5) or pull the even ones towards you (if they are not the hot 5). Important: In the next selection round, have her either pull 3 of the 5 cards towards her or push 2 away from her, depending on what was done in the first round, so that it all appears consistent. Keep going until she's chosen one. Show the prediction.

Thought. Fortuna was a great trick with great result. Although the envelope for the cards is flimsy. Mine has tears in it already now I can no longer do this trick. I’m a bit gutted to be fair

David and Nikolas are an incredible team and when working together you know that something strong, unique and creativity level ticks all boxes in all they produce. I actually purchased two copies from David, One to work with and one to save for when this will be very rare and hard to get years to come. This would go great with “The Moment” or even other magic related theme tricks out there really are so many but back to FORTUNA ! - I have one little suggestion that if it is re printed to make the card stock just a little thicker. Don’t get me wrong it is great as it is I just would love it to be a little bit thicker. Other than that, it’s absolutely great.

You will know exactly what you’re getting/ doing and they even teach you all different outcomes just the way they are showing you a great advertising before you purchase it. If you like things with fortune or tarot , Different kinds of theme to your magic you will love this version of mental choice. This could even be a very basic way into doing some kind of a reading but you don’t need to know any of that stuff or dabble in that Area, I just happen to love that stuff so this is right up my alley.

This is hands-down the most easiest thing to perform right out of the package after watching the video, however I do recommend getting to know just some basic information about each card that way is enhances your performance that way it’s more meaningful and you will have a much more memorable experience. Thank you Penguin, again I did purchase this from David directly and he is definitely one of those things that might not be around too long so grab a coffee or two before I get another one!

Greetings fellow magi,
Fortuna is a wonderful piece of mentalism! I performed it for my parents so far and they really loved the routine. I believe the routine is very easy to do, and because it is simple, you can work on a great presentation for it! I would suggest really working the script and making sure you know all of your reveals. I absolutely love Fortuna. The only reason I gave four stars is because I think that the Cornicello reveal is somewhat weak, but the audience will still love it. It’s just weak for me because I’m thinking like a magician. I highly recommend Fortuna. You will have a great effect that is not ‘another card trick!’ So get it! You will not be disappointed.

This is a fantastic trick that is super simple to do, which leaves you just to concentrate on the performance, which if you put in the research you can make super strong.
The props you receive are fantastic and will last a long time. David and Nikolas have put a lot of thought into this and I can't wait to start performing this on a regular basis.

This is not a big punchy effect that’s going to knock the socks off your audience. It’s more of a charming interlude between other tricks. There’s nothing that feels impossible about it, rather it feels like something that was fated to happen, so I frame it as “luck vs. fate,” which seems to work. People really seem to like it. The only problem I have is that all four times I have performed it, people picked the cornicello, which is probably the least the interesting out. Just my luck. Or is it fate?

IF you watched the trailer you already know the whole trick. Despite the simplicity, it's maybe my favorite piece of magic from Penguin. I'm a hobbyist and have done this for friends and family and co-workers and they like this better than position impossible, snow deck, cinemental and some other "big tricks." Presentation could not be easier and obviously the trick works every time. Everything supplied is of excellent quality.

I have been looking for a replacement to Killer Elite. It is s a great trick, but doesn't work for me personality wise as I am not one who love to celebrate violence and is way out of step with my stage character.

I also appreciate how honest the trailer is regarding all the possible endings. I think 4 of the 5 are super strong and am yet to have someone choose the out which I think is the weakest.
