I met John Born during his lecture here in Belgium. I bought this book directly from him. When I came back home, I read the first page and then, I left the book next to others. This was more than 4 years ago, I was 18 and I did not speak English very well.

Last month, I decided to try again, and I read it from the beginning to the end. I must admit it, this book is a gem! His version of ACAAN is, for me, the best on the market!

Of course, you can find other versions of ACAAN on Penguin, but most of them use a heavily gimmicked deck or are not really "ANY card at ANY number".

I must be honest, you will have to work hard to master his version of ACAAN, but think about this: the deck is NOT gimmicked, any card and any number can be selected.

To conclude, I would advise this book to every experienced magician that wants to perform a version of ACAAN. Beginners, you should try something else.

This is great book that has many methods on the a,c,a,a,n, effect. I have a adapted my a.c.a.a.n. based on a few methods found in this book. I don't use John's method exactly but this book will open you're eyes to alot of different ways to accomplish the a.c.a.a.n. effect. This is a must read to anyone who is interested in the effect. I removed one star because John's method is not going to work for everyone.

i bought this straight from John Born in this year Monterrey's magic convention.. This is an amazing book full of ideas and routines. His method for meant to be is killer. I still have to work on my memorized deck. This is not for every hobbyist but i do recomend it if you enjoy spending time practicing.
