The trick is good and the teaching is solid, but I can't get over the price tag for what's included.
You're basically paying $40 for a couple pieces of plastic candy. The materials for everything
included could not have cost more than a dollar or two. This trick would absolutely be 5 stars at
$15-$20, but I hesitate to recommend this at its current price.
Some other things to note
are there are some lighting conditions to consider so you don't flash, and the candy cannot be
inspected without a switch. There are extra pieces of candy included so you can switch them in and
out for the gimmick, but you'll obviously have to ditch and retrieve them during the performance if
you want to start and end clean.
Hopefully this review will help you make a more informed
decision on whether or not this trick is worth the buy.

This trick is a huge disappointment. First let me say I bought it twice. Once it snapped on me
perhaps because I taxed it too much- maybe. The second time I barely got it out of the box and
dropped it- ON MY CARPET- and it broke. Thats $75 for basically nothing. I know they give you extra
material but it is totally not worth the time. If it didnt break it would be a GREAT trick, but I
wasn't even that rough with it and I had no luck. @ stars is generous only becuase I like T. Dostal
as a creator and I feel bad about giving negative reviews. Great idea, poor quality

I loved Liquify and was eager to try Candyman but....I've rarely been so dissapointed in an effect.
Both the method and the quality of the gimmick were sorely lacking. Mine broke about 15 minutes
into practice. Maybe I'm just a clumsy oaf but it really felt bad having such a pricy item give out
before one performance.

Tobias Dostal is one of those creators who are constantly thinking out of the box and pushing their
creativity to make magic tricks you always remember. Optix, Ping, Stay Cool, Liquify, Liquid
Spectrum, Silhouette, and the list goes on. Tobias makes some of the most fun and most visual
tricks of the 2020s. Candyman is a fun and easy to perform trick. Some slight of hand is needed,
but easily learned. Great add to any candy or snack routine. Good for walk around, street, for
kids, and impromptu. Beautifully packaged, it's Theory 11 so that's excepted, and the quality of
the gimmick is high. The video tutorial is clear, but you cannot download for offline view. Only
web stream. I do recommend this trick.

Kill shot trick!!
Just get it practice for 10 minutes then go show your wife that is hardly
ever impressed anymore with your new tricks and crush her with this one!
Absolutely floored me
worse critic.
Very organic in feel and look.
Super versatile.
Another winner from
Tobias.
On top of all this it is easy to repair and modify.
