* Concept & Creativity = 5 ... I so wanted to like this!
* Quality of build = 0 ... once
assembled with stickers as directed, the cube would not fit into the box in 2 of the 6 possible ways
to put it in....totally unusable for the one I received.
I hope I just got a bad one or
they correct the manufacturing process....such a shame, was so excited for this creative approach on
method!

It's rare that I'll be this quick to hammer a piece of work, but this release is absolutely DOA and
brings to mind the words "straight trash."
The cube, when assembled as instructed, is too
tight to fit in the box and requires much too forceful a hand to pop it out. Any fraction of tighter
than this would require a bang ring to separate the cube from the box.
The cube itself is a
piece of 3D printed gear that is wrapped with literal electrician's tape to keep the required
gimmicks in place. Even when carefully assembled per the video, it all looks cheap and is frankly
utterly unusable.
I chose to ignore my instinct and give this a try, despite being burned
on another hyped release earlier this year. That's the end of that for me.

This is a huge waste of money and I'm never buying anything from Julio Montoro again.
I
read it was poor quality, but I was like, well a vision cube is normally some chinese thing anyway.
This is far worse! A vision cube that is $2 from china is far better quality. This $40 gimmick is
literally a 3d print wrapped in tape. He gives you stickers you have to put on yourself to make it
look slightly better. And no extra stickers, just the exact amount you need so you better not mess
up. Which for the price, should have been put on for you, the gimmick should be premade completely,
but your pretty much have to make half of it yourself for no reason. Now because you have tape and
two layers of stickers (as per instructions), the cube doesn't slide in and out of the box well
anymore, it's too thick, sometimes gets stuck, which he even talks about in the video. The gimmick
part he calls a "shell" (but not a shell), is literally made from paper and mine was not even cut
straight and was misaligned, making it unusable.

I am a huge fan of Color Vision effects. This had so much promise and was such a disappointment and
let down. Unfortunately, the box is too small to accommodate the cube even without the added
thickness of the stickers. Fortunately, I purchased this at a substantial discount which softened
the blow some. I wanted a revolutionary new approach to performing an old classic and received a
flawed product with an instructional video with gay club music in the background. Thanks, Juan :D
