Take this with a grain of salt. I've only just now gotten this and played with it for about an hour
but thought I should write a review to help those thinking about getting this. When I bought this, I
thought this would be great for walkaround gigs. You could but it is not ideal. The reset will
take around a minute to do and you do not want to do it around a bunch of people. Second, there is a
small mechanism needed and if you drop it, you are probably screwed. In the video, they explain a
way around this but you have to spend some money and you have storage to figure out. Third, this is
not a read and ready trick. It will take some practice to perform flawlessly. In fact, you'll see
the sticking points in the demos. Lastly, unless you check the gimmick every time, there may come a
time when the gimmick will not work perfectly. That said, I'm glad that this is fairly priced and I
do see times where I will use this. If I do it during a walkaround gig, I will wait until near the
end of it to perform this. this has the potent to WOW a group of spectators, say good night, and
leave them with their mouths hanging open.

Artemis is a cool concept on a classic sandwich trick, designed to be very visual. Without giving
too much away, what you get is a gimmick that is cool in concept, but a bit knacky to manage, and
not guaranteed to hold up to someone burning your hands. After fiddling around with this for a
while, I'd say that it's fairly easy to flash the gimmick too early, which is actually evident from
Erik Tait's initial tutorial from the included video, where you can see it flashing nearly the
entire time. Great for parlour, but I would not do this effect as a close-up routine.

Received my Artemis. Not as impressive as I thought. Watching the video I was like WOW!!!! but it
real life not so much. I think the concept is awesome and great job to Dante for his creation but
just not for me.
You'll need to be sure to squeeze every corner of the 2 jokers so people
won't see there are 3 cards. Also pulling the ring off without people noticing is not practical.
Doesn't just slide off. I would never do this in an up close situation. No way!
I'm not
going to return this just because I believe the creators deserve something for their great minds. (I
could never come up with their ideas) But I don't believe I will be using this. Bottom drawer for
me. Maybe someday when I bored I'll bring out and play with it.
Really don't like
giving bad reviews.....

I was fooled by the marketing video. I just know that no will will end up actually using this
Trick. To lock and unlock is painful and in a real life close up performance you will look very sus.
You will not use a signed card at all and the Gimmick is so Gimmicked that it's very noticeable and
difficult to use.So just be real whoever bought this already you know that you will never use it.
Buy "monkey in the middle" you will be way more happy and it's very easy to perform unlike this
crap.

I'm sorry to the creator and penguin, but this might be one of the worst releases I have ever seen.
It is beautiful if you get it to work like in the trailer. But the set up is a hassle and the
gimmick is terribly made. I would give my lowest recommendation for this product.

Although the locking mechanism seems practical in theory, it's not suitable for actual use. The
other materials used are also of very poor quality. The product broke down within a week after
purchase.

Just got this and it will immediately go into the junk drawer. The set up and execution of this
might be alright for online performances, but not in person. Locking mechanism isn't good for your
fingernails. Too bulky when locked especially close up. I will say, there's a better way to lock
and you should at least use thinner stock. Just needs a rework....the concept is there.

It took me a little while to figure out an easy way for me to get into the final setup for the mix.
I have very dry skin so my method works well now for me. One thing I would like to mention is that I
not only use this with regular playing cards but I also use this with Alphabet cards and it just
blows minds and I am sure there are ESP cards that will work with this gimmick as well
Just watched the first 15min of the presentation [about a third] and saw so many moves[8-10] being
done it made my head spin. This was even BEFORE the gimmick was even introduced. I really have no
desire to watch the whole presentation but I probably will when my brain recovers. The device is
fine which is why I didn’t give it only 1 star. Looked like a good trick in presentation but all the
extra moves make it boring until the climax. Will not even try to perform because of all the
practice necessary and the sleights that have to be learned. Definitely not a trick for a beginner.
Intermediate at least. Don’t recommend it for the above reasons.
