The Hofzinser Toss is a very common and effective sleight in card magic. This series shares three of my original and highly creative tricks using the Hofzinser Toss.

Toss Aces: The spectator cuts the deck. The magician shows the cut point and the bottom card—no Ace. After tossing the two halves back and forth four times, the four Aces are produced.

Toss Sandwich: The spectator selects one red card and one black card. The magician shuffles the four Aces into different positions in the deck. The spectator cuts anywhere, places the cards into the magician’s hands, and after four tosses, the red Aces trap the red selection, and the black Aces trap the black selection.

Toss Collectors: The spectator selects three cards. After four tosses, the four Aces collect the three selections.

The routine is entirely sleight-of-hand and requires only a regular deck.
