Received Agatha's Haunted Key and am very pleased with it. I purchased two other Haunted Keys from two other suppliers/dealers for comparison. The nice thing about any of these keys is that there is no gimmick of any kind; nothing to add or take away. Spectator can examine it to his heart's content.

One of the Haunted Keys is very similar to Penguin's in size and design. The keyhole is the same size, just a little thinner. This particular key also came with some additional routines, most of which required an additional item if you wanted to perform them. Nice routines, but as I said, most of them required an additional accessory. This key, like Penguin's, also has a couple of (I'm not sure what to call them) rings/rims at the keyhole end which help some with the movement of the key. Again, very similar to Penguin's, just some additional routines included.

The other key was quite a bit smaller than Penguin's and the one described above. The keyhole is smaller, but that doesn't really effect the working of it. It does not have the two rings/rims at the keyhole end, but I don't feel that that affected the working of it. It seemed to work just as well, just smaller and a little different in appearance.

All that being said, all three keys work. It's just kind of a matter of personal preference as to which one you might pick; size being the main difference on the one.

If you haven't been able to tell (and that's why I'm writing this review), I really like, and would highly recommend, Penguin's Agatha's Haunted Key. Nick, as usual, does an excellent job of providing background, instructions on how to make it work, as well as ideas about possible stories to use in conjunction with the key. Kudos to Nick and his ability to explain in a very clear and understandable way,
the workings of effects.

Best haunted key I've ever purchased. Excellent balance and weight. Compared to smaller and lighter keys, it's far easier to prevent the dreaded flop-over once the key turns beyond the half way point.

Not my favorite product, but a great tool non the less.
I love the haunted key effect and I have every key listed and many others not listed on site. My collection ranges from the Spirit Key, Murphy's deluxe, the resurrectionist, as well as quite a few out of the antique shop keys too.
This one, Agatha's key just hasn't worked as well for me. It is in the format similar to Murphy's deluxe, but larger and bulkier. It is actually the heaviest I have yet. It is nice, very pretty, but it took me much longer to be happy with a truly smooth presentation.
For the extra 5 dollars and an exceedingly compelling name I was hoping for more then the competitors. Either way, the key does work and I hope opens the door and the minds of many souls.

Immediately I was able to perform this trick. I almost scared myself. I'm working on my stories which is very important. Just in time for Halloween. I'm going to scare some folks. LOL Thank you!
