Nice to see someone other than a youtube kid teaching sleight of hand. Aside from that, you guys actually teach correctly. This is a very detailed explanation of the Retention Vanish, and if you haven't learned this sleight, or just want some extra tips on the move, I highly recommend this video. Ryan Bliss explains the move very well and gives tips, and Chris adds even more tips and ideas. I can't believe this is a free download! Buy this now!

I was looking for something to improve my retention vanish which I don't use because excessive finger movements look like crap to everyone except magicians. This download did not help. The retention taught is exactly what I am trying to get away from.

For a FREE video you can't gripe too much. I found it to be helpful, but it still falls a little short. Why? Because most instructions on sleights show how it looks done properly and step to step of a sleight.
What most do not get is a nice "fluid" blend of the step to step / Properly performed version. A nice slow-mo video is the MOST useful thing in the whole world! Because sleights need to be at speed, then slowed down to show detail.
Otherwise, it was quite adequate.

Coming back to magic after many years and trying to learn a few sleights for my grandchildren. It sure is easier learning them from a video than trying to follow a print description. The video is very clear and very helpful. The delight in my grandsons eyes is a great payoff.
