no tricks lecture yet highly recommended for any performer of magic,illusions a lecture in thsi case its not about the tricks its about how to deliver them and get the most of them.

The video is very entertaining and fun to watch. Franz Harary is a big star in Asia and he talks about the industry which he works in, how it is organized and structured. He gives some tips how to get involved in this magic stream. Franz Harary tells his unique biography and it is really fascinating. Finally,this video is completely free!

In my opinion, Franz Harary is the best illusionist ever. Throughout his interview you can see his way of thinking and he discusses about how did he become a magician with very expensive shows although he started with no money !!! One of the most interesting interviews about magic grand illusions !!! I really believe this interview is very usefull for magicians who want to make big productions with small amount of money !!!

There is wonderful info here and TONS of practical advice. You won't learn many "secrets" in the magic sense - but you WILL learn the secret of success - HARD WORK. If you are just looking for tricks, this might not be the lecture for you. But if you want to learn more about how to succeed in magic, then I can't recommend this lecture highly enough. Thanks Franz!

Maybe it is just his style, but this felt mostly self promoting and a bit under prepared. Harary had lots of clips to share which were directly from his promotional material.

Granted this was one of the earlier LIVE lectures, but it was probably the one I have been least impressed with thus far. The biggest benefit I took away was that you can make just about any effect happen with enough time and dedication, but there was a lot of negative stuff (eg. about the trouble of protecting your work from copycats).

On the whole, there just was not much I could take away from this one.

Most lectures are all filled with magic we probably will never do. This lecture shows how a pro works, sets his stage, gets to the show and gets ready to amaze. We see what happens when things go wrong and how to turn bad things around. Very educational and gave me some nice ideas about preshow preparation.
